artyThe British have fantastic artillery. They can use their 8 gun rule to completely destroy enemy positions and force any opponent to be wary about digging in for an extended period of time. With these guns as a backbone, this Afrika infantry list is tough as nails.

600 Point British Infantry

This is a starting 600 point Afrika Korps list for the British Infantry. It takes a little bit of everything and is able to deal with very heavy armour as well as entrenched enemies. It is a list designed to give you models that you will use, to give you a feel for the game and how your army will play. It is very easy to expand on this list into a full 1500+ point army without having any models go to waste. read more »

Matilda II Tanks

matilda II tank flames of warThe matilda II is a close infantry support tank capable of taking a decent amount of fire due to its high armour. It also has fairly thick side and top armour making it ideal for making assaults along side the infantry it is supporting. They are slow, but they don’t need to move faster than infantry. Like most units in Flames of War, use them right and they are a huge asset, use them wrong and they’re a huge waste of points. read more »

British Artillery

artyThe British artillery is one of the best in the game. This is because of the numerous special rules that apply to them specifically. If you like a force that “pins and pounds” then there is no better force to do that than the Brits. First of all British artillery batteries have access to 8 guns this is double most of their opponents. All of the standard artillery rules apply about re rolling misses when using more than 6 guns but this is where the Brits pull away from the pack. read more »
