This gives them a lot of mobility and increases the platoon sizes by one for most units. They are also considered elite units which makes them very hardy in battle. Great mobility, hard to break, lots of weapons, the motociclisti are a very fun company to play. If you have a Bersaglieri company and want to try out the Motociclisti this is a good place to start.

motociclisti Platoon 230 points

Support self propelled gun 75/18 170 points

Support mortars 60 points

This army will be a lot of fun to play. Your motorcycle troops can quickly deploy to objectives around the board while your support mortars use their smoke to keep enemy tanks on the move. When playing against an infantry force the AB41’s can spot ambushes. When attacking the self propelled guns can deal with large threats and dig out machineguns and other anti tank weapons.

While defending your self propelled guns will be able to deal with the enemy anti tank and your infantry will prepare to assault tanks that get too close. your mortars can deal with lighter armoured threats as well as your command anti tank rifle. The Cars are ideal for flanking any static guns your opponent might have as they are quick and can avoid being attacked since they are recon troops.

The Italian infantry are a mixed group of soldiers. Part of the fun of using the Italians is that each platoon has a different skill rating determined randomly. This forces the italian commander to adapt strategy on the fly as one of the platoons may be exceptionally strong or incredibly weak. The Italians have a few other special rules that make them unique.

The Italians are the only infantry that can move instead of shooting. This ability is called Avanti and can be used to assault an enemy position or move towards an objective faster. While their support weaponry is average, the randomness of their skill levels makes the italian infantry a lot of fun to play. Take out any machine guns with your own infantry support weapons as you charge, you can risk it all and hope all your forces make it, knowing full well that those that don’t will miss out on all the fun. This keeps your opponent out of assualt range too as they know that the italians are capible of hitting their infantry first.
