600 Point British Infantry

This is a starting 600 point Afrika Korps list for the British Infantry. It takes a little bit of everything and is able to deal with very heavy armour as well as entrenched enemies. It is a list designed to give you models that you will use, to give you a feel for the game and how your army will play. It is very easy to expand on this list into a full 1500+ point army without having any models go to waste.

The idea behind this list is to use the heavy 17/25’s to deal with heavy enemy armour (seeing a panther in a 600 point list can be tough to deal with). The light mortars are to smoke targets so you can focus on dealing with one target at a time. The infantry have the numbers to stay alive for a long period of time, since you only have one platoon, if it runs away that is a very bad thing.

If you are assaulting, the valentine 2’s are there to back up the infantry charge and to take out moderately armoured threats. Since they have no HE let the infantry mortars / AA guns dig out infantry.
